Bronxville Program Offers Teen Girls ACL Injury Risk Screenings

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- An injury prevention talk and free ACL injury risk screenings are being offered Saturday, Feb. 27, at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville

The program for girls 12-18 years old will be presented by the hospital’s physical therapy department and Dr. Charles Popkin, a sports medicine specialist. 

Popkin’s talk will be followed by the free screenings to help determine who may be at risk for developing an ACL injury.

Parents must accompany their teens to the screening.

The program runs from 10 a.m.-noon at NYP/Lawrence Hospital, 55 Palmer Ave., Palmer Hall third floor, Bronxville.
