Bronxville's Concordia Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Awards

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Concordia College men's and women's tennis programs earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Awards recently.

The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above. The men’s team is one of four programs from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to earn the award and earned the recognition for the fourth straight year.

The men's scholar athletes include junior Rafael Ferreira (Sao Paulo, Brazil), junior Ofir Ginat (Raa’nana, Israel), senior Benas Majauskas (Vilnius, Lithuania), junior Lorenzo Montegiorgi (Velletri, Italy), and senior Juuso Ojanen (Varkaus, Finland).

On the women's side senior Linda Eliasson (Gothenburg, Sweden) and junior Nicole Stuhr (Glendora, Calif.) were recognized with the ITA Scholar-Athlete awards. The pair were two of 19 women from the CACC with an ITA Scholar-Athlete award recognition this year.
