YORKTOWN, N.Y. Bob Baker scored three times and Jay Fastiggi controlled face-offs throughout as Captain Lawrence edged Gargoyles 8-6 in the Hudson Valley Summer League 35-and-over Division championship lacrosse game at Legacy Field.
Dan Kaiser scored twice for Captain Lawrence, one of his goals assisted by Baker, and Rocco DAndraia was outstanding in goal for the winners. Gargoyles crease attack man Drew Wendol was a force on offense, scoring a game-high four goals.
