EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - The Eastchester Blue Devils Youth Football club hosted teams from New City (Rockland) Sunday with the Mitey Mites winning and the Pee Wee team falling to the visitors.

The Blue Devils Mitey Mites defense led the way to a 19-0 victory over New City with linemen Luke Phillips and Frankie Capasso making key plays. Chris Montero and Sal Esposito each had an interception to help the defense.

The Mitey Mites, who ran their record to 4-0, were keyed on offense by the running of Henry Donohue behind key blocks by Daniel Cade and Luca Zingaro.

The Mighty Mite travel to Ramapo on Sunday for their next game.

Blue Devils Pee Wees Fall
The Blue Devils Pee Wees were edged by New City 14-6 as CJ Watford had the lone touchdown for Eastchester. The Pee Wees hope to get back on the winning track Sunday at Ramapo/Spring Valley.
