The game is played in honor of Nardone, a former Eastchester police officer who was involved with youth sports in both communities. Proceeds from the event will be designated for a scholarship given in Nardone’s name at the Eastchester Eagles Annual Club Awards Dinner in June.
At 5 p.m., there will be a tug-of-war for elementary school students, followed by the faculties of each school going head to head in a basketball game. After the faculty game, there will be a foul-shooting contest for those who sign up at the check-in table. The night will conclude with the varsity basketball teams squaring off at the Eagles Nest.
Admission for students and children is $3; adults, $5. Admission includes a raffle ticket for prizes drawn throughout the evening.
