The game is played in honor of Nardone, a former Eastchester police officer who was involved with youth sports in both communities. Proceeds from the event will be designated for a scholarship given in Nardone’s name at the Eastchester Eagles Annual Club Awards Dinner in June.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, there will be family fun for students of all ages, followed by the faculties of each school going head-to-head in a basketball game. The night will then conclude with the varsity basketball teams squaring off at the Eagles Nest.

Sponsored through the Eastchester Eagles Sports Club, admission for students and children is $3; adults, $5. Admission includes a raffle ticket for prizes drawn throughout the evening. All proceeds go toward the funding of scholarships that will be given in Nardone's name to Eastchester and Tuckahoe student-athletes later this year.
