Eastchester's Third-Quarter Surge Topples Sleepy Hollow

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Eastchester pulled away from Sleepy Hollow in the third quarter of Thursday’s boys lacrosse game and earned an 11-6 win.

The Eagles led 5-3 at the half and outscored the Horsemen 5-1 in the third quarter to blow the game open. Sleepy Hollow scored twice in the fourth quarter but it was not nearly enough.

Eastchester’s Tom Cirillo exploded for eight of the Eagles’ 11 goals on Thursday. Goalie Joey Arcidiacano had 15 saves.
