The game will be broadcast on MLB Network. The game, which will be played at iconic Wrigley Field on Saturday, July 29th, brings together the top 40 high school players in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The game, in its 10th year, will be broadcast on MLB Network.

Since the game's inception, 284 of the 323 draft eligible players from the game have been picked in the MLB Amateur Draft.

"I was very surprised," Neeck, who learned the news from his dad, said. "I wasn't expecting to be selected."

Neeck, who loves to get hitters out with his slider, said he has been playing baseball his whole life after following in the footsteps of his older brother. He was pleased with his junior year, feeling he made a lot of progress. This summer he is pitching for Tri-State Arsenal, based out of New Jersey.

With the MLB Amateur Draft a year away, Neeck said he wasn't sure about being drafted, but if he goes to college, he plans to study business.
