Pace Lacrosse Announces Promotional Schedule For Spring Season

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. --  Pace University's men's lacrosse season will begin on Thursday, March 13, and the marketing and promotions department has scheduled three promotional days for the season.

Pace begins the season on the road as it takes on the Le Moyne College Dolphins beginning at noon on March 13. The Setters will then return home as they play host to Dominican College for a 3:30 p.m. matchup.

Pace will host Southern New Hampshire University for Pace Lacrosse Youth Day on Saturday, March 22. Local youth lacrosse groups will get the chance to play a game on the field during half-time, as well as enjoy free food from local sponsors. 

An announcement regarding a free youth-lacrosse clinic during the week of March 16-22 will be published to www.pacesettersathletics.com.

On Saturday, April 12, the Setters take on Merrimack College at noon for senior and alumni day. Prior to the contest, the Pace seniors will be honored on the field in a pregame recognition ceremony. During halftime, all alumni in attendance will be recognized and there will be a postgame BBQ for all to attend.

Following the BBQ, alumni and friends will have the opportunity to gather at a postgame reception in Pleasantville at Michael's Tavern. To register for the event click here.

Pace will conclude the home portion of the season on Wednesday, April 16 with its annual "Pace Goes Pink" breast cancer fundraiser as they take on Assumption College at 3:30 p.m.

"Pace Goes Pink"  T-shirts will be sold for $5 with all proceeds going towards Northern Westchester Hospital's breast institute. 

The Pace Athletic Department has also announced the introduction of Pace Lacrosse "The Season," a bi-weekly episode featuring coach analysis, player interviews and previews of future matchups throughout the 2014 season.
