Lynch appears on the NE-10 all-academic team for the third time in her collegiate career, and began in 2012 and 2013. She concluded one of the top female swimming season performances in 2013-14 as she was selected as NE-10 Female Swimmer of the Year, which marks the first major swimming and diving award in program history.

In the classroom, she posted a 3.68 undergrad GPA in applied psychology and human relations and currently has a 3.3 in the graduate program of public safety and homeland security.

Akay earned three individual podium finishes at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships. He won the 200 individual medley with a time of 1:52.61 and finished third in the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke. Additionally, earlier this season, he set the Setters record in the 400 individual. Akay currently has a 3.41 GPA as a biology major.

Slayton finished second in both the 100 and 200-breaststroke at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships with times of 56.44 and 2:04.42. Both marks were school records. Slayton currently has a 3.42 GPA as a computer science major.

To be eligible for selection to the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: participated in at least half of the team's competitions and been either a starter or significant contributor, achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale and completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution.
