Playoff Bound Tigers Top Pawling with Late Score

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – Sophomore quarterback Mike Castracucco threw a touchdown pass for the winning score Saturday as the Tuckahoe Tigers defeated visiting Pawling 46-44 and earned the second seed in next week’s Section 1 Class D playoffs.

Tuckahoe (5-2) will host Lincoln Hall in the semifinal matchup and Palisades Prep (Yonkers) will visit Haldane in the other semifinal matchup.

Nick Reisman rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns and Kayvon Reid gained 101 yards and scored twice for the Tigers, who have won three straight games to end the regular season after going 2-2 in early play and losing two in a row to Bronxville and Dobbs Ferry.
