TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- The Tuckahoe Youth Association has opened registration for its fall baseball season for several age group divisions.

According to a release by the TYA, the fall baseball season will have teams in Majors (11-12 years old), Minors (9-10), Youth Instructional and Rookies Instructional divisions with the season to run from Sept. 17 through Oct.31.

"The season will include three weeks of games and baseball clinics provided by Jerry DeFabbia and the Around the Horn coaches, followed by three three weeks of games only," TYA Board President Rafael Rivera said. "The players will experience learning and improving their skills in baseball and immediately applying what they've learned in their fall games."

The TYA asks that parents register children within their appropriate age group and not to move children up a division as it may lead to errors in the placement of players and the risk of children not being placed on a team.
