PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The top-seeded Tuckahoe High football team held off No. 2 Haldane in Saturday's Section 1 Class D championship game, with the Tigers taking the sectional title with a 24-12 victory at Pace University.
Tuckahoe's cheerleaders had plenty to smile about as the Tigers beat Haldane to win the Class D title.

Tuckahoe, whose only regular-season win came against Haldane, takes on the Section 9 champion Saturday, Nov. 14 at Sleepy Hollow High.
