TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- The Tuckahoe Youth Association's Under-13 age group travel baseball team made club history this spring by winning the Westchester Baseball Association Spring Championship Saturday.
"We're very proud of the boys for making history for being our first 13-Under travel spring team and becoming champions in their first year," Tuckahoe Youth Association Commssioner Rafael Rivera said.
Coached by John Roque, Rich DeLorenzo and John Walzer, the team completed the spring season with a 17-4-1 record, including a successful run in the Ardsley Memorial Tournament, where the team placed second.
The Under-13 roster includes Rob Kiernan, Josh Sanz, John Seminara, Isaiah Williams, Mike Rizzo, Jason DeLorenzo, Christian Pinto, Mike Baez, Christian Rosell, Austin Pope, Sam Roque, Jack Walzer, Brian Chrystal, James Rockhill and Mike McLaughlin.
