They are looking for young athletes and student leaders from Eastchester to become volunteer "coaches" to work one- on-one with the students on Thursdays, beginning on April 28, for six weeks, at Anne Hutchinson, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

There will be a mandatory volunteer meeting, shooting for April 21 at 3 p.m. It's a wonderful chance to help your peers and you'll benefit from knowing you are contributing to the promotion of their self image and socialization skills.

Any questions about volunteering can be directed to SEPTA at eastchestersepta@yahoo.com or eevange@gmail.com.

Each class will begin with a creative warm up followed by a skill lesson. Technique will be reinforced by appropriate game play and challenges. Players of all levels of ability will be able to develop their talents at their own pace and comfort.

Players will receive instruction from teacher coaches and local varsity athletes that are 100 percent committed to the development of the young athlete. Each member of the staff brings passion, energy, and wants to be a role model to their "student athlete."

RSVP by April 10.
