The school is hosting Sean Kilpatrick Night on Thursday, Jan. 4 to honor the basketball star, who now plays for the Brooklyn Nets. Kilpatrick, who was born in Yonkers, will be recognized for his accomplishments and given his high school jersey.
While playing for the Tigers, Kilpatrick averaged 28.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists and was the second-leading scorer in White Plains High School history. He was a three-time all-state, all-section, and all-county selection.
Kilpatrick has remained close to White Plains. In August, he opened The Juice Lab on Mamaroneck Avenue, which serves smoothies and juices. At a game last season, he honored Janet Warmbir, his former English teacher, who helped him graduate high school.
