Brandi Chastain, best known for her World Cup-clinching penalty kick for the United States against China in 1999, has announced that she will be hosting a soccer clinic, discussion and autograph session at the Ursuline School through the Next Level Camp for Girls.

Chastain - a two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist, coach and broadcaster - will be joined by former Harvard soccer star Andrea Montalbano, who will also discuss her book series, “Soccer Sister’s” which is branded for girls to “share their love of sport, sisterhood and friendship.”

The special camp will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at Ursuline.

According to Next Level, “Brandi, along with Andrea’s clinic will help refine and develop fundamental soccer skills, as well as touch on a variety of topics, including being a good leader and teammate.”

Two years ago, Next Level Camp for Girls was launched by Ed Metzendorf, with a focus on sports, arts, STEM education and leadership.

Those interested in signing up for the camp can do so online.
