The Yonkers Police Department issued an alert warning that due to the storm - which is expected to drop up to a foot of snow in some parts of the area - residents and members of the community have been advised not to park on McLean Avenue between Central Park Avenue and Bronx River Road to allow for snow removal operations.

On Wednesday, March 21, there will be no parking on the north side of McLean Avenue from 4 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Thursday. On Thursday, there will be no parking on the south side of McLean Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Police warn that if a snow emergency is declared, any vehicle parked on the roadway will be towed at the owner’s expense.
