The Yonkers Police Department issued an alert on Friday morning warning residents and commuters that beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, McLean Avenue will be closed between Central Park Avenue and Bronx River Road.

The closure is expected to last until at least 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Additionally, police said there will be no parking on McLean Avenue and immediate side streets beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Vehicles parked in the area will be towed by police to clear the parade route.

Police said that officers will be available and in the area to help direct traffic and assist local residents. Local streets are expected to be extra busy as traffic is diverted in those directions, away from the parade route.
