I am against this project. Traffic will be a nightmare and I don't like that it's so close to the Van Cortlandtville Elementary School. There is a lot of empty space in the area, why squeeze it in here? View Comment

What about the noise and fumes from cars/delivery trucks that will filter into the Van Cortlandtville Elementary school? The children's playground and track will border the parking lot. With all the empty space on Route 6 why look at this particular spot? View Comment

Since most schools are on spring break this week and next week, it's not bad. The real test will be once break is over. I have been leaving my house before 6:30 am every day to get to lower Westchester and it's been ok. Last night going home it took me 20 minutes to go 8 miles. View Comment

My children are students at Van Cortlandtville. I am not happy that this store would be so close to the school's property. The noise and pollution from delivery trucks, cars etc concerns me especially when they are outside for recess. And who knows who will be roaming around. They should keep the current store or find another location (and there are many in the area) to build on. View Comment
