Learn The Ways Of The Sea At Pirate School In Tuckahoe

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – Before children in Eastchester and Bronxville head back to the classroom in September, they will have the opportunity to attend Pirate School at the Tuckahoe Public Library.

Students can learn to “arrggh” like a pirate when David Engel hosts a pirate program at the library to mark the end of the summer reading program.

Pirate School will teach children zany lessons from the perspective of pirate professor Billy Bones, who will be played by Engel. Engel has toured the tri-state area, bringing his swashbuckling ways to camps, schools and other libraries.

The music-filled, family-friendly event will be open to all local children between the ages of 3 and 10. Engel warns that there will be Costumes are encouraged, and registration is required.
