Town Of Eastchester Presents Summer Sounds Concert Series

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The 2014 Summer Sounds concert series kicks off with House Arrest, New York's premiere house band, at 8 p.m., Wednesday July 9 at the Lake Isle Country Club, 660 White Plains Road.

The concert series is sponsored by the town of Eastchester. A schedule of concerts is below.

Wednesday, July 9:

House Arrest: Get cuffed with New York's premier house band and find out why the best parties begin under House Arrest. Rain date:  Thursday, July 10

Wednesday, July 16:

Teri Lamar and New Company: Eastchester’s own TLNC will play the “Hits of your lifetime” spanning from the 60s to today! From Carole King to Kelly Clarkson, The Stones to Santana and Aretha to Alicia Keys. Rain date: Thursday, July 17.

Wednesday, July 23:

Bob Larro Orchestra: Bob Larro and his band will perform timeless songs from Tony Bennett, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra and many more. Enjoy nostalgic songs of the 40s and 50s, Motown and disco hits from the 60s and 70s and the contemporary sounds of today. Rain date: Thursday, July 24.

Wednesday, July 30:

Streets of the Bronx: Whether they are playing R&B, Classic Rock, 50s, Latin, Swing, or Reggae, the band has enjoyed entertaining audiences of all ages for the past 15 years with their brand of “good time” dance and party music. Rain date: Thursday, July 31.

Wednesday, August 6:

FDR Drive: FDR Drive offers a mix of music that includes current dance hits, Motown, R&B, 70s, 80s, 90s, rock, pop hits, swing, novelty songs and standards. Rain date:  Thursday, Aug. 7

Wednesday, August 13: Concert at Garth Road Park. Band: TBA. Rain date: Thursday, Aug. 14
