'Restaurant Hunter' Set To Film At Growlers Beer Bistro In Tuckahoe

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- "Restaurant Hunter," the Verizon show headed by Emmy winner Rob Petrone, will shoot an upcoming episode over wings and beer at Growlers Beer Bistro in Tuckahoe on Wednesday, Dec. 15.

The eatery, which boasts 16 draft lines, one cask line, 60--plus bottles and cans as well as three red wines on tap and a host of craft spirits/cocktails, was the recent winner of our DVlicious "Best Craft Beer Bar" in Westchester contest. (Go HERE for earlier Daily Voice story.)

Owner Eric Lorberfeld likes to say Growlers is not a restaurant and it's not a bar. Instead, it's "an intimate, relaxing, hip and jazzy beer-centric bistro/lounge."

"Restaurant Hunter," which searches for the best eats in the Lower Hudson Valley, airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Verizon FiOS1 News.
