EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - George N. "Chip" Stewart Jr. of Eastchester died Nov. 18. He was 60.
Stewart was born Dec. 12, 1952, to George and Terry (Gannon) Stewart in Bronxville, N.Y. He worked as a policeman for the Eastchester Police Department from 1977 to 1980, and as a lieutenant firefighter for the Eastchester Fire Department from 1980 to 2010.
Stewart is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughters, Kristin, Ashley, and Kerry; father, George Stewart Sr.; siblings, Nancy Reynolds, Shawn and Kevin Stewart; many nieces, nephews; cousins; and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Bridget Theresa (Gannon) Stewart.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Burial will take place at the Holy Mount Cemetery.
