NAPLES, Fla. - John F. "Jack" Hogan, Sr., Naples, formerly of Eastchester, N.Y., and Harwich Port, Mass., died July 25. He was 83.
Hogan was born in the Bronx, N.Y. He graduated from All Hallows, the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., and Columbia University Graduate School. He had a long career in advertising, holding senior executive positions at Erwin Wasey, Ruthrauff & Ryan; BBDO; Rumrill-Hoyt; and DePalma & Hogan Advertising where he retired as chairman and CEO in 1985.
Hogan is survived by his children, Joan, Patricia (Diana), Anne (Bob), John, Courtney (Reid), David (Meg), Christopher (Elizabeth), and Mark (Julie); and 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (née Vail).
Calling hours are Tuesday, July 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home , Bronxville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31 at the Church of the Annunciation, Crestwood.
