The blood drive will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will take place at the firehouse, which is located at 80 Westchester Ave.
Participants, the announcement notes, have to be at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds, although 16 year olds can also participate if they have parental permission.
"Please stop by and donate a pint," writes Daniel Rainford, the fire department's chair for the drive. "Giving Blood is the easiest and safest way you can go about saving lives."
