EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Students of all grade levels in the Eastchester School District participated in “moving up” ceremonies, with some getting ready to move on to college, while others will be re-populating the halls of the middle and high school.

Seniors said goodbye to the district at the graduation ceremony held inside a giant tent on the high school grounds on Friday as they tossed their graduation caps in the air and cheered their transition into college.

There were also ceremonies at Anne Hutchinson, Waverly and Greenvale Elementary Schools, featuring student and faculty speakers and celebrations as the fifth-graders leave the comfort of elementary school behind and get ready for the middle school.
