EASTCHESTER, N.Y. The Eastchester Blue Devils youth football program kicked off its 44th season with a family outing Friday and opening games on Sunday at Haindl Field, winning three games over the visiting teams from North Rockland.
We had Eastchester Town Supervisor Anthony Colavita speak, Legislator Sheila Marcotte, one of two Eastchester Hall of famers Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Telesco and one of our founding fathers and first president Mr. Bob Russel, said Chris Cooper, Blue Devils president. The cheerleaders put on a wonderful show for the crowd to end the ceremonies.
