EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - In an effort to help town employees keep Eastchester streets clear and safe over the winter, an overnight parking ban has been put into effect.
Beginning on Dec. 1, and continuing through March 15 next year, no vehicles are permitted to be parked on any public roadways between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. within the town limits, due to the Eastchester Town code regarding overnight parking in the winter.
"Simply owning too many cars to adequately fit in your driveway is not considered a hardship," the Eastchester Police Department noted. "You are not exempt from the law."
