Proposed Eastchester Fire Election Change Won't Be Easy

When you don't require your passengers to buckle up, especially children, it becomes more complicated. I will not start my engine until everyone is buckled. I certainly agree that drivers who use a cell phone or text (?!!!) while driving should be hung by their thumbs. But it's easier to spot someone without a seat belt than someone using a cell phone. I'm grateful that the police are going after any of these fools.
There are contradictory statements from Westchester Bd of Elections to the Chair of EFB and other civic groups (no problem simply add names to the ballot) and statements made to Assemblywoman Paulin's staff. Addressing the issue of enabling all stakeholders (i.e. taxpayers) to vote for commissioners who establish this $16mil tax levy and further addressing the issue restoring public integrity are matters that Assemblywoman Paulin and NYS Senator Latimer will be addressing in further meetings. Noting that the cost could be "100 times more" is simply unacceptable. Facts, figures and solutions to an obvious problem is the job of a legislator.
