Charles Ferrante, 83, Longtime Eastchester Resident, Marine Veteran

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Charles Ferrante, a longtime resident of Eastchester, died Wednesday, Nov. 27. He was 83.

Ferrante was born Dec. 8, 1929, to Calogero and Maria (Gaite) Ferrante. He served in U.S. Marine Corps and was the past commander of the Eastchester VFW. He worked for Dellwood Milk in Yonkers for 45 years.

Ferrante is survived by his wife, Nancy Ferrante; children, Eddie Cirillo (Jill), John Cirillo (Melinda), Joseph and Angelo Ferrante; and six grandchildren. Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 2 at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Burial to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
