The event, begins at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 10 Mill Road, New Rochelle, and will include bingo, silent auctions, prizes, a 50/50 raffle, desserts and more.
The funds raised during the event will go toward upgrades and renovations at the Girl Scout Cabin on Highland Ave. in Eastchester.
Built in 1958 with profits from the sale of Girl Scout cookies, the cabins is the main meeting place for more than 500 girls. It has begun to show its age and is in need of major repairs, including a new boiler, electrical upgrades, energy-efficient improvements, handicap accessibility, new doors and windows. The group has raised enough funds from two pervious fundraisers to begin Phase I of their project.
The entry fee for bingo night is $20 in advance or $25 the night of the event. The event is only for adults 21 years old and older.
