Eastchester Music Boosters Announce Upcoming Events

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Eastchester High School EGO is sponsoring its annual Rock Against Cancer event on Friday, March 4, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

The performances at the student music recital at the Eastchester Public Library will include works by Chopin, Bach, Mozart and more.

It is an opportunity for student bands to showcase their talent. There will be special performances by the Jazz Band and social studies teacher Bruce Reitenbach. All proceeds go to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

On Sunday, March 6, high school members of Tri-M, National Music Honor Society are holding a student music recital at the Eastchester Public Library on March 7 at 2 p.m.

Admission is free and donations will be accepted for the Give a Note Foundation at their website.
