EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Junior League of Central Westchester drew more than 270 people to its Glitz & Glamour fund-raiser.
The Friday, March 28 event, co-sponsored by Pepe Infiniti and 42 The Restaurant, was held at Pepe Infiniti in White Plains. The evening included a cocktail reception, with hors d'oeuvres provided by Nikos Greek Taverna and dinner and dessert provided by 42 The Restaurant.
Wine, beer and spirits were provided by 42 The Restaurant, William Rattner Somelier Selections, Slovenia Vodka, Domaine Select Wine Estates, Zachys and Caperberry Events. The evening featured a silent auction and entertainment by the Music Conservatory of Westchester. Diana Gould donated the decorations for the entire event, and Londin Photography provided red carpet photos and other photography throughout the evening.
“Glitz & Glamour was an amazing evening and we are so grateful to our Crown Jewel Sponsors Pepe Infiniti and 42 The Restaurant for their generous donations”, said Julie King, president of the Junior League of Central Westchester. “The funds raised for the JLCW will be incredibly helpful in our mission to improve the local community through charitable works.”
Proceeds from Glitz & Glamour support the JLCW’s programs that promote health and literacy, provide food and necessities to the underprivileged, empower low-income families, help preserve community history and train effective community volunteers, according to a press release.
