Tuckahoe Public Library Centennial Ends With Dec. 12 Event

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – For 100 years, the Tuckahoe Public Library has been a fixture of the community, serving as a place to study, a gathering place and a place where children can grow and learn.

All year long, library personnel and members of the community have been celebrating the Tuckahoe Public Library’s centennial anniversary, and they will conclude those celebrations at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Tuckahoe Community Center on Columbus Avenue.

There will be music performed by the Bronxville Pops Concert Band and a Chinese auction featuring a variety of prizes. Refreshments will be served at the event, and community members of all ages are invited to attend the festivities.
