EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – A free film screening and a candy tasting highlight the events around Eastchester and Bronxville this weekend.
Friday, June 28
Summer film: 1 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library will continue its summer film series with a screening of "Side Effects." 106 minutes. 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.
Saturday, June 29
Candy tasting: 11 a.m. There will be a free candy and chocolate tasting, featuring chocolate pretzels, caramels and Belgian chocolate among other things. 22 Harwood Court, Scarsdale.
Bike Safety Rodeo: 11 a.m. Children can learn how much fun and healthy outdoor activities can be at this event, sponsored by Hudson Health Plan at the James L. Fleming Park. Prescott and Elm streets, Yonkers.
Sunday, June 30
Music at the park: 9:30 p.m. Park 143 Bistro showcases artists in various music genres. Guests will receive a free Park Bellini. 143 Parkway Road, Bronxville.
