What To Do Around Eastchester This Weekend

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – A senior citizen breakfast at Anne Hutchinson Elementary School and the annual Crestwood Holidayfest are some of the events planned around Eastchester and Tuckahoe this weekend.

Friday, Dec. 7

Senior citizens breakfast: 9 a.m. The Anne Hutchinson Student Council Community Service Club is welcoming all senior citizens to the annual breakfast and concert. 60 Mill Road, Eastchester.

Film series: 1 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library will continue its film series with a screening of “Darling Comparison.” 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.

Coffeehouse: 8 p.m. There will be coffee, snacks and musical acts at the Bronxville Women’s Club in Bronxville. $5. 135 Midland Ave., Bronxville.

Music at the park: 9:30 p.m. Park 143 Bistro showcases artists in various music genres. Guests will receive a free Park Bellini. 143 Parkway Road, Bronxville.

Saturday, Dec. 8

Hanukkah: Begins at sundown.

Santa Claus: Noon. Children are invited to take pictures with Santa courtesy of the Tuckahoe-Eastchester Chamber of Commerce. 40 Mill Road, Eastchester.

Tennis Play Day Jamboree: 4 p.m. Kids ages 3 through 10 are invited to play at the Yonkers Tennis Center in a fun, non-threatening, non-elimination competitive environment. $25. 493 Sprain Road, Yonkers.

Sunday, Dec. 9

Holidayfest: 11 a.m. Holiday music, live reindeer and Santa Claus are coming to town for the Crestwood Holidayfest. Columbus and Fisher avenues near the Crestwood Railroad Station.

Magic show: 3 p.m. Magician Benjamin Levy will host a performance. There will be light refreshments served before the show. $15. 511 Warburton Ave., Yonkers.

Chamber Music: 4 p.m. The student chamber groups at Sarah Lawrence College will perform music from a variety of composers. 1 Mead Way, Bronxville.
