Music, Stories Headline Children's Programs At Eastchester Public Library

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Music and story time headline January events at the Eastchester Public Library.

For the Little Ones

Baby Lap Time for ages 9-23 months will be held Thursday, Jan. 21, at 10:30 a.m.

Toddler Storytime for age 2 will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, at 10:30 a.m.

Robert the Guitar Guy will visit the library on Saturday at 11 a.m. for an all-ages concert.

In-person registration for Preschool Storytime will begin Tuesday at 9 a.m. This is a drop-off program for ages 3 and 4. Sign-up is for the full series of programs, either Wednesdays or Thursdays at 1:30 p.m., Jan. 20 and 21 through Wednesday, May 18, and Thursday, May 19.

Book groups

The Middle Grade Book Chat & Advisory Group for fourth and fifth grades will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. Participants are asked to bring one to three books that they have been reading and share them with the group, along with their suggestions for books and programs they'd like to see at the library. Online pre-registration is suggested.

The Reading Buddies Book Club for second and third grades will meet Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. to discuss “George's Marvelous Medicine” by Roald Dahl. Online pre-registration is suggested.

Refreshments will be served at all three book groups, and copies of selections are available at the Circulation Desk.
