Doug Hearle will speak at 2 p.m. at the Eastchester Historical Society’s annual meeting.

He will discuss a group of Irish people who fled the country’s famine in the 1840s and ended up working at an important estate in Westchester County.

The Eastchester Historical Society is at the intersection of New Rochelle and California roads.
