Christina Ho, the manager of Steam Operations Planning at Con Edison, received the award for her leadership and dedication to the communities that Con Edison serves.

The Bowie, Md. native has worked with Con Edison for more than a decade. She moved to New York in 1998 to attend college.

Ho has rapidly ascended the ladder at Con Edison, holding numerous positions during her tenure. Currently she oversees analysts and engineers that manage production fuel, contracted steam portfolios, production facility outage planning, budgets and the analysis of strategic planning initiatives.

In her career, Ho has made significant contributions to the water and wastewater treatment system within her division. She has designed and installed several water-treatment systems. Ho is also a mentor with Women in Communications and Energy, where she coordinated Steam Operations activities for students.

While at Con Edison, Ho has served on education committees for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Engineers without Borders. She has also been actively involved in Engineering For Change, where advocates can work on technical solutions to everyday humanitarian challenges.

“This award is gratifying because it recognizes contributions my colleagues and I have made to projects that result in better customers service,” Ho said. “It also recognizes work I have done in the community. Stellar customer services and uplifting our communities are important here at Con Edison.”
