Eastchester Organizations Expected To 'Ask Astorino Anything'

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - Eastchester residents will have the opportunity to ask Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino anything tonight when he visits for his latest in a series of town hall meetings in the lower Hudson Valley.

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, the “Ask Astorino” series will make it’s way to Eastchester Town Hall, where residents will have the opportunity for an update and discussion with the county executive.

Members of local activist groups, including the Marbledale Environmental Coalition, Indivisible Westchester and a group against the privatization of the Westchester County Airport are expected to be in attendance. According to organizers, other groups that are both for and against some of the Astorino's politics, policies and plans are also expected to attend the event.

During his visit, Astorino is expected to provide an update on “his work to provide tax relief, preserve essential services and promote economic development.” Additionally, he will discuss Rye Playland, the Westchester County Airport and Project WORTHY - Westchester Opioid Response Teams Helping You - a new initiative to combat the epidemic that has struck the county.

The “Ask Astorino” series will continue at 7 p.m. on Monday at Eastchester Town Hall on Mill Road.
