After more than a decade, the remains of New York City firefighter Jeffrey Walz of Tuckahoe who died in teh World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, were returned to his family.

Incoming Bronxville High School senior running sensation Mary Cain was featured in Sports Illustrated.

Eastchester Republicans earned support from the Independence Party.

Eastchester and Tuckahoe High School seniors were awarded scholarships by the Eastchester Italian American Citizens Club.
