Missing Elderly Woman Leads Eastchester News This Week

After a search that spanned several days, Eastchester resident Catherine “Kay” Cotter was found dead in the Bronx River after wandering off near Garth Road on Tuesday.

Tuckahoe High School softball shortstop Casey Stevko earned a $5,000 scholarship from Con Edison for her accomplishments as a student-athlete.

Eastchester senior track and field star Jon Alkins will compete in the 100 and 200-meter races at the New York State Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
