EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Eastchester and Tuckahoe this week:
- The third time might be the charm for the much maligned Kensington Road site in Bronxville, as the village trustees have chosen a developer to pick up where the last failed attempt left off.
- Eastchester voters made their decision on Thursday, and have overwhelmingly chosen to support the school district’s near $2 million bond to replace the synthetic turf field.
- Thirty people were injured early Monday morning in a crash on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers that involved more than two dozen cars.
- DNA testing by Westchester County officials has led to the arrest of a Spring Valley woman believed to be the mother of the infant boy named "Baby Angel" who was found in an Elmsford recycling plant last month.
