See Beauty And The Beast At JCC In Scarsdale

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – The Westchester Theatre of Dance will be putting on a presentation of “Beauty and the Beast” as the centerpiece ballet of its annual concert at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Mid-Westchester.

There will be three shows at the JCC on the Scarsdale-New Rochelle town line, featuring music from Pyotr Ilyich Tchalkovsky, original choreography by Mimi Wallace and guest artist Joel Levy playing the Beast.

Outside of ballet, the concert will also feature dance selections in hip-hop and tap, showcasing JCC Dance School students as well as faculty members serving as guest artists.

The shows will be at 8 p.m. on March 16 and at 1 and 4 p.m. on March 17. Tickets for the March 16 performance will cost $28 and $23 for March 17  matinees. There will be a dessert reception following the evening concert.
