Monday, July 9
Facebook workshop: 11 a.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library is hosting a workshop about using the popular social media website. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.
Rotary Club meeting: 12 p.m. Join the Bronxville Rotary Club for its weekly lunch meeting. 1122-60 Kraft Ave., Bronxville.
Womens boot camp: 8 p.m. An outdoor womens boot camp class that incorporates cardio drills and strength training using minimal equipment. Participants will receive a challenging workout in a supportive, team environment. $12. 12 Oregon Ave., Bronxville.
Bronxville Village Board: 7:30 p.m., Trustees Room, Village Hall, 200 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Tuesday, July 10
Film series: 1 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library will continue its film series when they show The Artist starring Jean Dujardin. The run time is 100 minutes. 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester.
Advisory Board meeting: 7 to 9 p.m. The Lake Isle Advisory Board will be meeting at the country club. 666 White Plains Road, Eastchester.
Bossy Frog Band concert: 7 to 8 p.m. An interactive performance featuring funky, hip and award winning music on the Bronxville Library lawn. Will be moved to the Yeager Room in the case of inclement weather. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Wednesday, July 11
Social needlers: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bring in a needlecraft project to work on while getting to know fellow crafters. Coffee and cookies will be served. This is a social hour, no formal instruction will be given. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Movie series: 12:30 p.m. The Tuckahoe Library will continue its film series for adults when they screen The Vow. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.
Legos in the Library: 4 p.m.-5 p.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library welcomes children ages 5 through 10 to build Lego creations that will be displayed until the next program. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.
Bronxville Library Board: 7 p.m., Bronxville Public Library, 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Bronxville Planning Board: 7:30 p.m., The Planning Board will discuss Lawrence Hospital's expansion plans, among other items. Village Hall, 200 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Thursday, July 12
Teen photo frame workshop: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Designed for children older than 9, this workshop will allow kids the chance to design picture frames for parents favorite photos. All materials are provided. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
