Tassinari was born June 18, 1915, to Giovanni and Luiga (nee Valentino) Castaldi in New York City. She received a scholarship to attend N.Y.U. She was very active in various Eastchester clubs.
Tassinari is survived by her son, Edward Tassinari. She was predeceased by her parents; and six siblings.
Calling hours are Monday, Aug. 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. Prayer service to be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.
