EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Anna Margaret Varian, of Eastchester, died Jan. 7. She was 87.
Varian was born July 12, 1925, in the Bronx, N.Y., to William and Florence Newcomb Cody. She worked as an operator for AT&T in New York City and White Plains. She was married to Francis Varian, who predeceased her.
She is survived by a son, Walter Varian; a cousin, Katherine Gorman; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx. A requiem Mass will be celebrated at a later date. Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester is handling the arrangements.
