Geraldine P. Cramer, 71, Eastchester Resident

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Geraldine P. Cramer (Geri), of Eastchester, died Saturday, Feb. 20. She was 71.

She was born in Yonkers in 1944 to Louis and Carmela Foti.

She took the utmost pleasure in surrounding herself with her family, cooking, reading and vacationing in North Carolina each summer with her grandchildren. During her time as a stay-at-home mom, she received her bachelor’s degree from Pace University and later attended Pace graduate school. She was a staunch advocate of higher education and an active financier who spent much of her time analyzing the financial markets. She held many fond memories of the lasting personal friendships that she built during her tenure as a grants accountant at the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert; her sister, Jeannie DelGreco; her daughter, Kathleen Bonanno and her husband, Joseph; her son, Bobby Cramer and his wife, Jennifer; and her five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madeline, Charlotte, Jason and Jake.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pace University or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Visiting will be Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main St., Eastchester. A private Mass for family members will be held at a later date.
