EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - John Coco, a longtime resident of Eastchester, died Aug. 6. He was 66.
Coco was born Oct. 18, 1946, in New York City, to John F. and Edith (Cristallo) Coco. Prior to his retirement he worked for the Plumber's Local 1 Union in Queens.
Coco is survived by his wife, Nancy Coco; children, Valarie Coco, Lorraine Coco, Kelly Laverty, and Vincent Laverty (Tiffany); eight grandchildren; brother, Frank Coco (Beth); nephews; and his wife's extended family. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Arthur Coco. Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment is private.
